The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the video conference with Minister of Commerce Ruhsar Pekcan with 365 chambers and commodity exchanges and 61 industry council president.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they have constantly shared the demands and problems of the chambers and exchanges with the relevant authorities, and thanked Trade Minister Pekcan for her consultation-based management style and executive vision since taking office.
This week, noting that they commissioned the Breath Credit, Hisarcıklıoğlu, “TOBB, chambers and exchanges have allocated all their resources for the use of our companies. Currently, Breath Credits has the lowest interest to date, 7.5% per year.”
Regarding the demands of sectors, Hisarcıklıoğlu also noted:
“Every company that suffers from turnover loss should receive the right to force majeure. The market will be relieved if the private sector is paid as soon as possible, given the priority of the public sector's public receivables, the health and medical sector. We should be given the opportunity to receive VAT. Past tax and SSI premium debts must also be restructured after delays. Covid-19 needs to be excluded from the scope of the work accident."
